PTFE Cleaning Basket for Conductive Glass

Product Description

This PTFE cleaning basket provides excellent resistance to acids,
alkalis and chemical corrosion. It remains chemically stable in
strong acid and strong alkali solutions such as aqua regia and
piranha solution.

It is suitable for use in 100 mL, 250 mL, 500 mL and 1000 mL beakers
and can be used with corresponding PTFE baskets.

PTFE Material Properties

PTFE has excellent chemical stability and corrosion resistance.
Except for molten alkali metals, chlorine trifluoride, chlorine
pentafluoride and liquid fluorine, it is resistant to a wide range
of chemical reagents and remains stable even when boiled in aqua regia.

PTFE also provides good sealing performance, high lubricity,
non-stick properties, electrical insulation and aging resistance.
It can be used for long-term operation at temperatures from
approximately -180°C to +250°C.
