50–400 Mesh Copper TEM Grids with Carbon Support Film

Product Description
Standard carbon support film is one of the most common and widely used
TEM support films. It consists of an organic Formvar film covered with
a carbon layer and supported by a TEM grid.
Different mesh sizes can be used as the supporting grid. This type of
support film is suitable for most nanomaterials, especially dispersible
powder samples, as well as biological tissues and ultrathin sections.
Because the overall support-film structure is relatively thick,
it is generally less suitable for high-quality high-resolution imaging.
For higher-resolution TEM applications, a microgrid carbon support film
with micropores can be selected.

Handling Instructions
Open the product in a clean environment. Keep the product box
facing upward and gently slide open the transparent lid.
Expose only as many TEM grids as required. Move the grids forward
row by row and close the container promptly after use to avoid contamination.
When removing a support film grid, gently hold the edge of the grid
with tweezers. Avoid touching the carbon film surface, as contact may
deform or damage the support film.
Clean high-precision TEM grid tweezers are recommended. Static charge
on both the operator and tweezers should be minimized before handling.
Important Notes
The support film is intended for single use and should not be reused.
If increased surface hydrophilicity is required, the support film
surface can be treated using glow discharge or plasma cleaning.
